Its 40th Anniversary With The
Best Tri-Five-Classic Chevy Spring Show, EVER!

Today's assignment is to let everyone know that the largest Tri-Five only car show in Dallas/Fort Worth since the Lone Star 29 will spring to life April 10th in Richardson, Texas.
DACC will celebrate their 40th Anniversary on Sunday April 10, 2016 with a VERY special show.
The Show is for all '55 - '57 Chevy cars, trucks and Corvettes at Reliable Chevrolet. You do not have to be a member to show your Tri-Five. Event activities will include:
'Favorite Picks' by club sponsors and celebrity judges, door prizes, best dressed 50's contest, live music by Johnny Diamond and the Silver Hubcaps, Candy Clark from American Graffiti! And of course, the many gleaming Tri-Five Chevys. All former and current club members are encouraged to attend what will be the largest gathering of Tri Five Chevys this year in North Texas!
The 40th ANNIVERSARY OF THE DALLAS AREA CLASSIC CHEVYS SHOW will celebrate DACC’s 40 years of tribute to the Tri-Five Chevy. If you have any feelings for Tri-five Chevys at all you must certainly schedule your calendar for a Tri-Five surfari to an out of this world classic car gathering on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 1PM to 4PM. If you live in N. Texas there will be no excuse for you not attend with your Tri-Five Chevy or daily driver at Reliable Chevrolet, which is located at Arapaho and Central in Richardson. At this wonderful spot in Texas there will be the best quality and quantity of Tri-Fives one can only imagine.

Attending the show. Even though the main showing area is for Tri-Five cars only, all classic cars are welcome and may park on the Reliable dealership grounds.
Celebrity judges will make personal favorite choices from the loveable in the main show. Their picks will be awarded a “Favorite Pick” plack during closing ceremonies by the Celebrity. Among the celebrities in attendance will be Candy Clark from American Graffiti. Along with free food and drink, for your listening pleasure, Johnny Diamond and the Silver Hubcaps will be playing live! video https://youtu.be/oqdVi-DhuGA Johnny Diamond and the Silver Hubcap Band plays all the old 50's & 60's Rock n' Roll songs. They put on a great show that you as a car show participant or spectator will thoroughly enjoy while attending the DACC Anniversary Show. The Johnny Diamond Band is an unique band that performs a complete period correct show. A great experience not to be missed while you are looking at all those great Classic Chevy cars. Many music fan favorites of yesteryear hits will be performed include the Twist. Bring your Hula-Hoops and Bubble Gum while wearing your poodle skirts, white socks and rolled up dungarees. Be just like Rapid Roy by wearing a white T-shirt with an extra pack of cigarettes rolled up in your T-shirt sleeve. You too can be too much to believe!
Johnny Diamond & the Silver Hubcap Band are definitely not your average "run-of-the-mill" guitar-pickin' band. Johnny plays the best Tenor Saxophone in the State of Texas and has played with major stars such as the Coasters and the Beach Boys. You and your friends will have a "blast" and will not want to miss the Johnny Diamond & the Silver Hubcap Band’s performance at the DACC Anniversary Show.
The Dallas Area Classic Chevys Club was founded in 1976. The club is dedicated to Classic Chevy Tri-Fives. DACC’s main existence is to establish an association of members based in the North Texas region for the purpose of encouraging the enjoyment, restoration and/or preservation of the 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet automobiles and trucks. DACC has a wide sampling of monthly activities such as car shows, poker runs, cruises, Chevy conventions, National events, drive-in movies, fall foliage tour, end of the year party and a community service project. The club is into events and fellowship of club members. All current members enjoy a monthly NewsLetter and a bye-weekly Email Newsletter. The biggest reason for the club is club members’ reverence for Tri-Five Chevys Cars. We are about the cars and not into meetings and “Robert’s Rules of Order.” I am a member and will tell you, “We are a group a laid back Chevy Loving guys and gals.” I personally invite you the the 40th Anniversary Show and well as becoming a member of our club.
